Planning to create a couple of devices around the house, but the current setup requires to connect one Controller to one Host. This is quite expensive and does not give much gain (if audio is not required). Some Home automation fans might have already a Raspberry Pi used for different services such as FHEM or Home Assistant.
A workaround might be to start different containers on a Raspberry Pi and to connect each Controller to one container. Doing this for 4 controllers, it will eat up all the memory on such a device.
Another workaround is to use the AwTrix Cloud, but since the Controller updates are not authenticated, it's a serious security risk. Other users might like to keep the traffic limited to the local network, thus not willing to use the cloud.
Great would it be to be able to connect all 4 controllers to the same instance of the AwTrix Host/WebApp and control everything from one API.
