I had similar problems. first, check your firewall (maybe norton network programs too etc). I did this but still had problems.
then check your network adapters, especially virtual network adapters as that was my solution. try to deactivate adapters and start Jeelight again.
I noticed the "wrong" IP (from a different subnet) when I could not connect to a plugin from Eventghost. It just catched the "wrong" Network Interface. try cmd->ipconfig. If you see IPs from different (sub)networks it could cause a problem.
PS: Das Programm ist klasse,. Ich hatte vorher die Yeelight Toolbox aber das hier ist besser & schneller. Toller Effekt, macht Spaß.
